ECS Manufacturing, Inc., based in Briarcliff Manor, New York, started in 1975. It is now comprised of four subsidiaries for fabrication and manufacturing of technical products to industry, inclusive of technical ceramics and quartz for the aerospace, defense industries, diamond tools for wafer dicing for chip manufacturers, security and detection devices for safety and rescue law enforcement, portable power energy for emergencies and medical devices and supplies for CPR training.

DTI Technology Sdn.Bhd., "DTI" (Malaysia)
Established 1989 is
the primary manufacturing arm of STI, and the supplier of the diamond tools sold to the
semiconductor, machine tool and jewelry industries. DTI also has fabrication
ability for ceramics, quartz and other materials used in many industries that
supports the ECS subsidiary in New York. For

Having an established presence in Malaysia since 1989 gives ECS Manufacturing, Inc. complete manufacturing and distribution facilities for all of Asia, the United States and the rest of the world. This Malaysian presence is significant in that ECS Manufacturing, Inc. is a reliable low cost source of supply.
ECS Manufacturing, Inc., the corporate holding company is a technical product group with an impressive client base. They sell their products to numerous Fortune 1000 companies in various industries such as Semiconductor, Electronics, Medical, Industrial, Energy, Aerospace Defense and Security, among others, throughout the world. The company has four operating divisions.

ECS

other ceramic products which

2: SEMICON TOOLS, INC.(STI)
A wholly owned subsidiary of ECS Manufacturing, Inc., STI’s product lines include diamond tooling such as hub and hubless diamond nickel and resin bonded dicing blade. These cutting tools have micron size diamond particles captured in a nickel metal or resin matrix to form a very small precision cutting edge made to very close tolerances. The diamond blades are used as the dicing/cutting saw blade for precision computer controlled dicing saws, needed in the electronic and semiconductor industries to cut and separate integrated circuits and discrete devices from processed wafers. The diamond blade is used primarily on all types of what are commonly termed “ Hard Materials, ” such as Silicon, GaAs (Gallium Arsenide), Sapphire, Alumina Ceramics, Quartz and Circuit Boards. Presently all the diamond tool products are manufactured by our JV partner in Taiwan except resin diamond blades, which are still manufactured by DTI Technology in Malaysia.
Complimenting the dicing blade line, Semicon Tools, Inc. with DTI and our JV partner in Taiwan manufactures other supplementary products including diamond scribing tools for cutting specialty coated glass such as mirrors and sapphire substrates for LED chips.

DTI TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD. (DTI)
A wholly owned subsidiary of ECS Manufacturing, Inc, DTI is the primary manufacturer of the diamond resin bond, dicing blades for STI distribution to North and South America and Europe. DTI sells direct to all of Asia. DTI has a modern machine shop with USA trained, now experienced workers, to support ECS and STI in New York for all the product lines of ceramic and quartz products.
A wholly owned subsidiary of ECS Manufacturing, Inc, "SETO Tech" has become a recognized sales / marketing, contract manufacturing service company with an experienced contract and assembly manufacturing team. By using outside sources that have many years of proven experiences with existing state of the art facilities to assist our staff enables SETO Tech to develop, design, assemble and manufacture a complete turnkey product from start to finish. Because SETO Tech does not have the direct in-house manufacturing responsibility and the costs needed to support their own facilities gives SETO Tech the flexibility for fast growth and better profit margins. This organizational structure combines the our staff with the contract manufacturer personnel and the customer to form a group with many years experience in all the aspects of the customers needs. All SETO Tech's contractors are under exclusive agreements with SETO Tech for all products introduced to them by SETO Tech. This setup for contract manufacturing has enabled SETO Tech to also develop and design other products.
ECS Manufacturing, Inc. aggressively markets its products through direct sales, advertisements in trade journals, sales representatives, distributors, trade shows, telephone solicitations, and the Internet.
The high technology manufacturing and fabrication subsidiaries of ECS, STI and DTI are all very important and supportive to each other. Ceramic fabrication is not possible without diamond tools to machine, shape, grind, cut or surface finish. Since DTI and STI manufacture many of these tools in-house ECS has a distinct advantage to minimize delivery time and control quality without having to rely on outside sources. This ability to manufacture our own tools helps us to be more competitive within the subsidiaries. Having some of the worlds largest ceramic companies as a customers and suppliers for many of the raw materials required by ECS with relationships that goes back to 1965, gives ECS a competitive edge.
The SETO Technology Sdn Bhd contract manufacturing sales / service subsidiary has been growing steadily with CPR trainers and supplies for the medical EMS and hospital industries. Which have become a necessary training aide and recently receiving government support by promoting trainers to the general public in the use of CPR. The growth for these products is expected to continue to increase in the coming years.
